Design challenge turned brand identity (WIP)

Recently, I applied for a role at a fintech company, where I was given a design challenge to create two Instagram ads for a teleportation travel company. I didn't get the job, but the challenge was surprisingly juicy enough for my brain to start thinking of a brand identity for it.

The central idea: "The real magic happens upon arrival."

Below, you'll get a look inside my creative thinking behind the design challenge, plus a refined logo I worked on after the fact. The original work was a 4-hour sprint; a fuller brand identity is in the queue.
